Phil Bauer, CFA, CAIA

As a member of the firm’s portfolio specialist team, Phil focuses on our private market strategies. He is responsible for communicating our investment process and strategy, asset-class perspectives, strategy performance and positioning to clients. In addition, Phil works closely with investors on private markets research, education, and portfolio construction. Phil has more than 13 years of industry experience, including roles at Fort Washington Investment Advisors and Mercer. Prior to joining Calamos in 2024, Phil served as Principal, Private Markets at Mercer where he led coverage of private credit and helped manage the firm’s institutional private markets fund-of-funds offering. Before embarking on his corporate career, Phil played professional baseball with the Cincinnati Reds organization. Phil graduated from Xavier University with a BA in Accounting. In addition to being a CFA charterholder, he holds the CAIA designation.

Stephanie Davis

Stephanie is a Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S Private Wealth Solutions. She is responsible for leading the U.S. business development team focusing on financial intermediaries and platforms. Stephanie brings more than 25 years of experience working with alternative investments and product development.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2019, Stephanie spent three years with LL Funds (DBA Ultra Capital LLC), most recently as a Director with the Capital Formation team. Previously, she was a Founder and Partner with Ascendant Capital Partners where she managed a 1940 Act Registered Fund of Hedge Funds serving both Institutional Clients as well as Financial Intermediaries and Platforms. Stephanie has also held positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and began her career at Merrill Lynch in the Private Client Group where she served as a Wealth Advisor.
Stephanie received an M.B.A. from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, with a concentration in International Business and a B.A. in Fine Arts from Georgetown University. She currently holds her FINRA Series 7, and 63 registrations.

Brett Graffy, CAIA

Brett is a Managing Director on the Pan-Alts team in the Americas and has over 13 years of industry experience. Brett works with Aksia’s global institutional clients on private credit portfolio strategy and construction and related investment advisory activities.
Prior to joining Aksia in 2023, Brett was the Associate Director at Marquette Associates, where he was a member of the Research Team, and led coverage of private credit, private equity, growth equity, and venture capital investments for the firm’s institutional clients. Prior to joining Marquette, Brett was a director at a New York City-based financial technology start-up. He previously held roles in the Institutional Groups at Invesco, Deutsche Bank, and Sentinel Investments where he led relationship development for the firm’s largest clients. Prior to embarking on his corporate career, Brett played professional baseball with Chicago White Sox.
Brett graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in History and holds an MBA from Yale School of Management. He holds the CAIA designation.

Christian Munafo

Christian has over 25 years of experience in financial services and investment management, with the last 20 years focused on secondary investments involving venture-backed and growth equity-oriented companies and funds. During this time, he has also served on the boards of many of these companies and funds.
Prior to Liberty Street Advisors, Christian was CIO of SPIM overseeing all investment related functions. Christian still serves as one of the portfolio managers of The Private Shares Fund, formerly the SharesPost 100 Fund, and a member of the investment committee.
Prior to joining The Private Shares Fund investment management team and Liberty Street Advisors, Inc., Christian was Co-Head of the Global Private Equity Secondaries Practice at HQ Capital based in New York, a $10+ billion alternative investment firm headquartered in Germany. Prior to that, he served as Head of Secondaries at Thomas Weisel Partners. Christian started his career as an investment banker at Banc of America Securities.
In aggregate, Christian has helped raise more than $2 billion globally from institutional investors, corporations, pensions, endowments, RIAs, and family offices, and has completed or overseen the completion of more than 200 secondary and primary investments representing nearly $2 billion in capital commitments.
Christian received his BA from Rutgers College.

Matthew Pellini

Matt is a Managing Director on the Secondary Investment team and co-heads the Venture Capital and Growth Equity team where he is responsible for direction and oversight of the Venture Capital and Growth Equity platform. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Matt is actively involved in the sourcing, underwriting and execution of secondary investments and venture and growth equity transactions.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2010, Matt spent five years at Curtis Financial Group, a Philadelphia based middle-market investment bank. At CFG Matt advised on mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity financings for public and private companies across a variety of industries.
Matt received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware.

Daniel Wilk, CAIA

Daniel Wilk is a Senior Vice President and Head of Private Equity Solutions at FS Investments, where he is responsible for supporting investor diligence regarding the firm’s middle market private equity initiatives. He serves as a key resource for private equity across transaction types, including primaries and secondaries (both LP-led and GP-led), and direct equity co-investments. He also leverages expertise in digital assets, real estate, alternative credit and liquid alternatives.
Previously, Mr. Wilk was the Regional Director for Northern California, covering the major wirehouse firms, registered investment advisors(RIAs) and independent broker dealers(IBDs). He received his BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and is an Alternative Investment Analyst charter holder (CAIA).
